Ultimate Chicken Keeping Course
We have been holding short beginner courses at our home for the past two years, over the past few months we have been developing our Ultimate Chicken Keeping Course in partnership with Pages Poultry. The new course starts in 2012 and is perfect for beginners and also people who want to develop their knowledge and experience of all aspects of poultry keeping. The new course is a half day course with a fantastic amount of hands on experience with an amazing range of birds
The course will be run at Pages Poultry where you will be able to wander between about 600 birds. There are also Geese, Ducks, Quail, Turkeys, Pigs, Rabbits, Guinea Pigs and Sheep to see. There are chickens of all different ages and you will also be able to see the hatchery and nursery.
The Course
The course covers everything you will need to become a competent hen keeper. With lots of hands on experience to give you the confidence to handle your hens in every situation.

The course costs £45 per person, the course is a 3 hour course and then the rest of the day to ask questions and wander round the birds.
